The Newton-Conover Civic and Performance Place is a a civic and performing arts facility that provides an auditorium, an art gallery and reception/meeting space for a wide range of community use presenting of a variety of entertainment, lectures, and other cultural activities. This facility offers a unique charm and historic atmosphere that's almost impossible to find in today's fast-paced world.

Offering expansive accommodations that can handle large exhibitions to intimate space that is perfect for small business gatherings, Newton-Conover Civic & Performance Place is more than a colorful link to the past. We are a state-of-the-art convention facility that can handle any business meeting.

Just as importantly, we also host weddings and receptions, class reunions, flower shows, auctions, and fund raisers. In short, there's little we haven't handled in our history, and there's very little we aren't prepared to host in the future. But there's far more to us than just being a host to business meetings.
