Do you have that diminutive plein air (on location landscape) painting that you could JUST SEE larger? This workshop is created to help you do just that. This is ideally suited for those who have taken Jean's workshops in the past where small quick paintings are encouraged. However, on a larger scale, some special approaches help translate the small to large. Glazing techniques, use of medium, spatial organizations may all be implemented in this.
Bring along 2 or 3 paintings as options along with any photos you might have taken.
Surface must be the same proportion as original (example: a 4 x 6 translates to 8 x 12, 12 x 18, etc). This will be offered as a one day course to get you started, thought you may want to sign up for both dates for more extended study. A supply list will be sent upon request.
